One word… | Kelowna Photographer

Spring has finally sprung here in the Okanagan. Oh how I love spring. After a long dull winter, the green that surrounds me is a welcome change. This week’s word for the one-word project is ‘two’. This week the word is a little more disguised. It’s more about the signs that spring is here. The cruiser is out and ready to go. The dandelions are out in full force and trying to take over. The tulips are just about ready to pop open. I heart tulips! And the surest sign of spring is bare feet in the grass.

You know how they say that a woman ‘glows’ when she is pregnant, well Jenny is a perfect example of a ‘glowing’ mom-to-be. I don’t think I have ever seen her look more beautiful and happy. These two are so excited for their little one to arrive and the gorgeous nursery is all ready. And I can not wait to photograph them all together either!

Another week down. The word this week ‘wrinkle’. I envisioned this at  the beginning of the week but it took a lazy Sunday morning to actually get it done, and a few hours of tv watching in the tub. But no one was complaining.

one-word… | kelowna photographer

Here we are, another week of the one-word project. The word, ‘natural’. Tough one, right. It wouldn’t have been so hard had it been a few weeks from now when all the pretty flowers and trees are in bloom. But no, it is still pretty brown around these parts. Luckily, I did this session yesterday. I love how this series of pictures just look so ‘natural’. Can’t wait to show off more from the session, but for now…
