Love… | Kelowna Photographer | Tasha Jean

my garden. I love all things pretty, and I especially love all things pretty that I had a hand in creating! Visiting the nursery in the spring is like a candy store for me. The color, texture, the delicateness, just everything about flowers makes me happy. My grandmother was an amazing gardener and I loved walking through her garden with her and asking her what each plant was. The picture in the bottom left is a bleeding heart which reminds me so much of her, there was always one in her garden. One of my all time favorites is the peony, and I have filled my yard with them. The center picture is a tree peony that I transplanted from my mom’s yard when she moved.

I miss my garden as the leaves turn and the frost sets in, but in a way I am glad that another season is over. I think the snow and brown make the anticipation of the first sign of green all that much better!

This post was inspired by my workshop friend Nicole Cassano. She recently posted flower pictures on her blog and it got me thinking, in the spring I had photographed some of my favorites from my yard!

Enjoy!

The ‘W’ Family… | Kelowna Family Photographer | Tasha Jean

It is the absolute perfect time to photograph a cute little family. It was a bit chilly this day so we had to work fast, before the red, runny noses started, but we had fun anyway. Who wouldn’t have fun throwing leaves?

So, here are a few more from the session below. I am sure you recognize this little man, but today we let his mom and dad get involved. We started out inside to warm up and then headed out and  took full advantage of the beautiful fall weather.
